When should we start exchanging links with other sites?

This is a good question. Some people start exchanging links as soon as they've finished designing the site. This wastes a lot of time as most people don't want to exchange links with a brand new site. Our approach is to start by Website Submission first and get a few links in from people you know. You should go onto Link Exchange after a few months.

Remember: Search engines don't like to see a site that gets too many links in a short period of time so it's best to leave your main link exchange campaign till later.
